 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American actress, comedian and activist. After emigrating to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her first professional work was as a child actor. From 2013 until 2016, she was the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams, and since 2020, she has been the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams. Her fame was boosted for her roles in television commercials. In addition to her commercial appearances, she also appeared as an actor in the series on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). In addition she was a series regular on Yahoo! Vayntrub, who was originally selected to voice the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's pilot that was never aired for New Warriors in 2018, has been voiced that role since. Vayntrub, a Jewish person was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents and she were exiled from antisemitism as young as just two years old. They emigrated to the U.S. with their children. Due to her family's financial troubles and her own financial struggles, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School, however, she quit in her sophomore year. She obtained an GED and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. She learned improv comedy from the Upright Citizens Brigade.
