Courtney Thorne Smith Bio

American actor Courtney Thorne Smith (born November 8 in 1967). Her credits include Alison Parker in Melrose Place, Georgia Thomas in Ally McBeal, Cheryl In According to Jim and Lyndsey McElroy's regular role on Two and a Half Men. Thorne-Smith was born and raised in San Francisco, California, and was raised in Menlo Park, a suburb south of San Francisco. Walter Smith was her father. Lora Thorne was her mom , as well as a psychotherapist. Courtney was seven when her parents divorced. Courtney lived with both parents at different times. Jennifer, her older sister is an ad executive. In 1985, she graduated from Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley, California. In high school, she also participated in the Ensemble Theater Company in Mill Valley. Thorne Smith made her first movie appearance in 1986's Lucas alongside Winona Ryder and Corey Haim. She was also involved in several films in the late 1980s, such as Welcome to 18 (1986), Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise (1987), Summer School (1987) and Side Out (1990). In 1998, she appeared as the star of the box-office flop Chairman Of The Board along with Carrot Top. She appeared in Sorority Wars in 2009. Thorne Smith had a relationship with Andrew Shue in the 1990s. He was her screen mate from Melrose Place. In June 2000, the actress married geneticist Andrew Conrad; the couple divorced in January 2001. Roger Fishman (president of Zizo Group, marketing company) and the author of What I Know was her wedding date. On the 11th of January 2008, when she was 40 years old she gave birth to her son, Jacob Emerson Fishman.
