Annie Wersching Bio

 Annie Wersching (born March 28 1977) is an American actress known for her character Renee Walker in the American television series 24 and also for her voice and motion capture for the character Tess in Naughty Dog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a graduate of Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in 1995. In her early years she competed as an Irish dancer as well as a member of the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching started her acting career by making a guest appearance on the television show Star Trek: Enterprise, before moving on to guest-starring roles on shows such as Charmed Killer Instinct, Supernatural as well as Cold Case. From March 2007 to November 2007, she played her main character Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap opera General Hospital. She has also performed in theaters , including Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire as well as the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching played FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After the two seasons of 24, Wersching guest starred on various shows such as CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli & Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which has her 24 co-star Kiefer Sutherland). 2014 saw her becoming a regular series regular for Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching was a catcher for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was announced that, in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching played the voice actor and mocap of the character Tess. Geoff Keighley teased her character on Twitterprior to when she was announced in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7 December 7, 2012. Wersching would be playing the part of the Borg Queen on Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
